Marcelino Endira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Narciso Senen went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Ricardo Olo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Sagrario having to interfere. Donato Tartalo charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Donato Tartalo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 21 minutes into the match, Feliberto Iruinea had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Miguel Sagrario. Atlético esperanza's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Feliberto Iruinea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Baldomero Fernado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlético esperanza's supporters rose to their feet, but Baldomero Fernado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelino Endira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in El banquito's zone, Baldomero Fernado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. After 29 played minutes, Atlético esperanza's Evaristo Abechuco shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marcelino Endira came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Atlético esperanza reached it. In the 31st minute, Freddy Frasco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Narciso Senen in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcelino Endira saved El banquito from getting behind. Marcelino Endira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomero Fernado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Atlético esperanza getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Freddy Frasco hit a great ball. Narciso Senen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcelino Endira having to make a save. 48 minutes into the match, Atlético esperanza's goalkeeper Miguel Sagrario had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Natalio Urre.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Narciso Senen to make the kick off. In the 85thth minute of the game Natalio Urre who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atlético esperanza's Miguel Sagrario was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Narciso Senen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcelino Endira was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. Marcelino Endira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narciso Senen, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Atlético esperanza's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
