Spectators: 6004 (Terracing: 5353, Seating: 510, VIP seats: 141) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ladislao Bernad made the kick off which started today's match. 13 minutes into the match, Emilio Fliz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zeledon Ibar. Huevo F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emilio Fliz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Leandro Cordero charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leandro Cordero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Leandro Cordero hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. The supporters of Huevo F.C. booed when Manantiales AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leandro Cordero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Huevo F.C.'s Matias Telo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 25th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Elias Dantel but with some difficulty. 28 minutes into the match, Huevo F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Florencio George came free, but Zeledon Ibar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Florencio George recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 31 minutes into the game, Manantiales AFC's Timoteo Danel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zeledon Ibar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Elias Dantel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ladislao Bernad in the 35th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute Florencio George shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Ibar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Florencio George managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manantiales AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Florencio George was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zeledon Ibar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 46th match minute, Huevo F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matias Telo to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Florencio George made a kick off. If Florencio George had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patricio Rafe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Zeledon Ibar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elias Dantel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cosme Salvadore in the 57th minute of the match. Zeledon Ibar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emilio Fliz in the 58th minute. Cosme Salvadore struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Elias Dantel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Huevo F.C.. Elias Dantel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ladislao Bernad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Florencio George sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gualterio Arotza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Zeledon Ibar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, Manantiales AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Cosme Salvadore came free, but Elias Dantel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zeledon Ibar came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Manantiales AFC's Gualterio Arotza. But to his dismay, Gualterio Arotza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. A collision led to Huevo F.C. getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Matias Telo hit a great ball. In the 85th minute, Florencio George got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 86 minutes, Florencio George managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manantiales AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florencio George was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Florencio George had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Florencio George sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emilio Fliz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Zeledon Ibar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elias Dantel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Hotz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over Manantiales AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Huevo F.C. throughout the match.
