Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfredo Alfonso in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Higinio Endura prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Alfonso in the 23rd minute of play forced Echegoyen's goalkeeper Higinio Endura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd match minute, Alhuampa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeledon Artal to maneuver through the defense. Felipe Gines fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Ermano having to interfere. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ulises Pitin to make the kick off. Marco Ermano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulises Pitin in the 64th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulises Pitin in the 67th minute of play forced Alhuampa's goalkeeper Marco Ermano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Alhuampa's goal looked a bit too open when Ulises Pitin came free, but Marco Ermano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Higinio Endura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeledon Artal, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. The audience was convinced that Alfredo Alfonso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Higinio Endura was relentless in the 86th minute of the game.
