Romeo Serapio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 47th minute, Ciro Blasi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Romeo Serapio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2.

The wind increased when Ciro Blasi made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Ciro Blasi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeo Serapio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jujuy's Romeo Serapio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciro Blasi in the 55th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabricio Diegotxe during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cleto Sidro couldn't finish the play. Jujuy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joaquin Argider was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 93 minutes into the match, Cleto Sidro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Freddy Stephen. Gimnasia y Tiro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cleto Sidro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Romeo Serapio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro Blasi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Gimnasia y Tiro had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
