Bilisman's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgardo Emesto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oscar Pudes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Valery in the 38th minute of play. If Abel Valery had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the match, Edgardo Emesto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Oscar Pudes. Lehman's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edgardo Emesto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Emesto in the 47th minute of play forced Lehman's goalkeeper Oscar Pudes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abel Valery sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abel Valery made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Lehman's goal looked a bit too open when Abel Valery came free, but Oscar Pudes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abel Valery couldn't finish the play. In the 82nd minute, Abel Valery got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edgardo Emesto's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Oscar Pudes firmly grabbed it by the left post. 0-3 became the score in the 89th minute when Edgardo Emesto elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When the match was over Bilisman could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Lehman throughout the match.
