The ball went over the crossbar instead. 3 minutes into the match, Bilisman's goalkeeper Pascual Loi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baldomero Elivareo. A collision led to Bilisman getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Jose Cibran hit a great ball. If Baldomero Elivareo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Bilisman's Froilan Jon got a free kick in the 10th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Haroldo Gora managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cañada's supporters rose to their feet, but Haroldo Gora was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pascual Loi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 16 played minutes Bilisman got a freekick which was hit by Edgardo Emesto. Lázaro Rufio kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Cañada defense, Edgardo Emesto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jacobo Cucao. The Cañada fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacobo Cucao should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Bilisman booed when Cañada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacobo Ascencio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edgardo Emesto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 26th minute Edgardo Emesto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Cucao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgardo Emesto might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacobo Cucao. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edgardo Emesto ran back to his position shaking his head. Haroldo Gora received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Pascual Loi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Haroldo Gora fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pascual Loi having to interfere. Jacobo Ascencio kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Baldomero Elivareo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Cañada's Haroldo Gora in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bilisman's goalie prevented a goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Haroldo Gora made a kick off. In the 54th match minute, Cañada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Ubarna to maneuver through the defense. Dante Gartzi charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dante Gartzi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 56th minute, Dante Gartzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Edgardo Emesto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jacobo Cucao showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jacobo Cucao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Valery in the 76th minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Baldomero Elivareo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pascual Loi. Bilisman's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Baldomero Elivareo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 90 minutes into the match, Bilisman's goal looked a bit too open when Lázaro Rufio came free, but Pascual Loi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Haroldo Gora had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pascual Loi.
