Spectators: 7157 (Terracing: 5457, Seating: 1650, VIP seats: 50) Corrales's Geronimo Victoro started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Guillermo Oskitz charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guillermo Oskitz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Rosario Atletic FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Guillermo Oskitz hit a great ball. When Rosario Atletic FC's Andres Efren in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Corrales's goalie prevented a goal. Lázaro Timo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geronimo Victoro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Geronimo Victoro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alvaro Lucila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th match minute, Rosario Atletic FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Oskitz to maneuver through the defense. 32 minutes into the match, Geronimo Victoro notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Rosario Atletic FC's Lázaro Timo. Lázaro Timo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Alvaro Lucila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alvaro Lucila recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lázaro Timo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geronimo Victoro in the 44th minute of play. Lázaro Timo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvaro Lucila in the 47th minute of the match. After the first half Corrales were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andres Efren was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alvaro Lucila got free with Lázaro Timo in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Natalio Karmel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guido Celipe in the 59th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Rosario Atletic FC's zone, Alvaro Lucila stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lázaro Timo came out of the goal and Alvaro Lucila tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 66 minutes, Alvaro Lucila managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Corrales's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alvaro Lucila was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 67 played minutes Rosario Atletic FC got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Oskitz. Lázaro Timo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alvaro Lucila went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 70th minute, Alvaro Lucila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alvaro Lucila could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Lázaro Timo made a huge save. Lázaro Timo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geronimo Victoro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 76 minutes, Geronimo Victoro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Corrales's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geronimo Victoro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Corrales's Geronimo Victoro in the 78th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Lázaro Timo was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Rosario Atletic FC through an amazing save. 93 minutes into the match, Rosario Atletic FC's Guido Celipe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Natalio Karmel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 95th minute, Alvaro Lucila ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lázaro Timo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. When the match was over Corrales could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Rosario Atletic FC throughout the match.
