The supporters of Cucharita no vale nada booed when Molles FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Matei didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Molles FC's goalkeeper Eduardo Mirande, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 25th of the match, Enrique Rioja tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Eduardo Mirande got in the way and made a wonderful save. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Ulises Firme managed to get in a good position for a shot. Molles FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulises Firme was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hermengildo Boni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristo Camerino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Ulises Firme managed to get in a good position for a shot. Molles FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulises Firme was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hermengildo Boni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Enrique Rioja stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ulises Firme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55th minute Ulises Firme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermengildo Boni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute, Molles FC's Adrian Matei seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Adrian Matei the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Molles FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Adrian Matei had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 68th minute of the game. One of Molles FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cucharita no vale nada:s goal. In the 71st minute there was a penalty for Cucharita no vale nada. Adan Eguzki stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Eduardo Mirande. 1-0. When Cristo Camerino fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Molles FC's protests and gave Cristo Camerino a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Cucharita no vale nada getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Igor Mendiko hit a great ball. After 82 minutes, Honorato Lia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cucharita no vale nada and the Molles FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Molles FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
