Leonel Manilan was left in no man's land by his defense there! David Paz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonel Manilan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. In the 18th minute there was a penalty for Tareirí. Arturo Innocenzio stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Leonel Manilan. 0-2. David Paz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 22 minutes into the game, Tareirí's David Paz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leonel Manilan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Severiano Remir charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Severiano Remir the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 33rd match minute, Sapitos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severiano Remir to maneuver through the defense. David Paz took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leonel Manilan. Leonel Manilan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jorge Patrido during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jorge Patrido kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Tareirí's zone, Everardo Danel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramon Tristan came out of the goal and Everardo Danel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Everardo Ortzi struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Leonel Manilan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tareirí. After having played for 47 minutes, Everardo Ortzi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tareirí's supporters crossed their fingers, but Everardo Ortzi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valentin Ted to make the kick off. Sapitos FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Everardo Ortzi scored to the left of an out of position Leonel Manilan, making the score, 0-5. When Everardo Ortzi came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Tareirí fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Everardo Ortzi couldn't finish the play. In the 62nd minute, Everardo Ortzi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tareirí fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Everardo Ortzi might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leonel Manilan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Everardo Ortzi ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 68th minute Everardo Ortzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonel Manilan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonel Manilan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Everardo Ortzi in the 69th minute of the match. Everardo Ortzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Everardo Ortzi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the match, Sapitos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Everardo Ortzi came free, but Leonel Manilan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Tareirí's David Paz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leonel Manilan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 87 minutes into the game, Tareirí's Everardo Ortzi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leonel Manilan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. Leonel Manilan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Everardo Ortzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Everardo Ortzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonel Manilan having to interfere. Everardo Ortzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Leonel Manilan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tareirí played a much better game than Sapitos FC and deserved their victory. The Sapitos FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
