Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Justo Fidele started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Justo Fidele received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Justino Peruxu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Justo Fidele fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justino Peruxu having to interfere. Cabituyo AFC's Iker Tavio suffered a concussion in the 13th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. 14 minutes into the game, Salvador Gartxot was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DEPORTIVO LA RENGA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cabituyo AFC the free kick. In the 14th minute, Salvador Gartxot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carmelo Urritzs short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Justino Peruxu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, DEPORTIVO LA RENGA's Humberto Gustau got a free kick in the 21st minute. Justino Peruxu made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Carmelo Urritz sent off a good shot on target. In the 26th minute Carmelo Urritz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justino Peruxu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute, Remigio Kauldi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carmelo Urritz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Justino Peruxu made a huge save. Sergio Abella sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Sergio Abella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Emilio Haritz made the kick off in the second half. Emilio Haritz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Vicente Diegotxe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vicente Diegotxe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilio Haritz, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Amadeo Gaxan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vicente Diegotxe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. In the 61st minute Carmelo Urritz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justino Peruxu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Cabituyo AFC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Antonio Bidari hit a great ball. Geronimo Efraim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 65 minutes, Justo Fidele mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cabituyo AFC and the DEPORTIVO LA RENGA players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 66th match minute, Cabituyo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justo Fidele to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, DEPORTIVO LA RENGA's Vicente Diegotxe threw himself towards the right post 72 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Emilio Haritz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emilio Haritz in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vicente Diegotxe saved Cabituyo AFC from getting behind. Amadeo Gaxan struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Vicente Diegotxe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DEPORTIVO LA RENGA. Vicente Diegotxe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilio Haritz, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Aristides Colas hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. When Aristides Colas fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cabituyo AFC's protests and gave Aristides Colas a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Cabituyo AFC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Aristides Colas hit a great ball. If Carmelo Urritz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Carmelo Urritz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cabituyo AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
