The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Constantino Bras fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jeanmaire FC's protests and gave Constantino Bras a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Jeanmaire FC's Constantino Bras got a free kick in the 4th minute. If Melchor Playo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Astor Gasteiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remigio Avellaneda in the 11th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Jumial's Martin Leocadio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Astor Gasteiz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 15 played minutes Jeanmaire FC got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Rafe. When Remigio Avellaneda came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Jumial fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Remigio Avellaneda couldn't finish the play. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jeanmaire FC's goalkeeper Astor Gasteiz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aurelio Rafe hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute Martin Leocadio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Astor Gasteiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Jumial's Martin Leocadio in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jeanmaire FC's goalie prevented a goal. When Amador Eguen came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Jumial fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amador Eguen couldn't finish the play. In the 45th minute, Martin Leocadio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bernardino Balendin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Astor Gasteiz made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Amador Eguen sent off a good shot on target. Remigio Avellaneda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Astor Gasteiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Americo Abastas kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Astor Gasteiz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Filomeno Pello showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 58 minute of play. In the 68th match minute, Jeanmaire FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Lehoi to maneuver through the defense. Martin Leocadio might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Astor Gasteiz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Martin Leocadio ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 80th minute, Remigio Avellaneda reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Astor Gasteiz. The goal made the score 0-2. After 86th play minutes Remigio Avellaneda shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Astor Gasteiz and just under the crossbar into goal. Astor Gasteiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remigio Avellaneda, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Jumial played a much better game than Jeanmaire FC and deserved their victory. The Jeanmaire FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
