Enrique Giro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dante Hustaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Enrique Giro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmiro Bernat in the 35th minute of play. Enrique Giro came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Jarilla AFC's Pedro Lugo. But to his dismay, Pedro Lugo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 42nd minute, Emiliano Cheche left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gualeguay AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The supporters of Jarilla AFC booed when Gualeguay AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimeno Llorenc didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The wind increased when Delmiro Bernat made the kick off in the second half. Gualeguay AFC's Enrique Giro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Gualeguay AFC from getting a goal against them. Jarilla AFC's Delmiro Bernat got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Enrique Giro didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 57th minute, which inside left pole to 1-3. Enrique Giro made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Dante Hustaz sent off a good shot on target. Dante Hustaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jarilla AFC's Delmiro Bernat got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gualeguay AFC's Enrique Giro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Gualeguay AFC from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dante Hustaz got free with Enrique Giro in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jarilla AFC played a much better game than Gualeguay AFC and deserved their victory. The Gualeguay AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
