Omar Goi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eloy Endura read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Goi in the 5th minute of play forced Vizcarra FC's goalkeeper Eloy Endura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Romeo Eguntsenti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Honorio Peter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eulalio Otsando could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Eloy Endura made a huge save. Vizcarra FC's Eloy Endura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelardo Raulo in the 17th minute of play. Romeo Eguntsenti hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. 19 minutes in the game, Eulalio Otsando dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. If Eulalio Otsando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Omar Goi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Eloy Endura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute Omar Goi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eloy Endura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eloy Endura made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eulalio Otsando in the 34th minute. Omar Goi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eloy Endura having to interfere. In the 40th minute Omar Goi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eloy Endura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Omar Goi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eulalio Otsando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eloy Endura having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Omar Goi to strike the kick off in the second half. Eloy Endura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eulalio Otsando, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Omar Goi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eulalio Otsando took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eloy Endura. Eloy Endura dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Eloy Endura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Goi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Omar Goi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eloy Endura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omar Goi, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. The Rueda fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when Rueda's Omar Goi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 79 minutes into the match, Rueda's Eulalio Otsando sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eloy Endura narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Eulalio Otsando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Eulalio Otsando managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rueda's supporters rose to their feet, but Eulalio Otsando was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eloy Endura breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
