The referee ignored Uspallata AFC's protests and gave Amadeo Giraldo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Uspallata AFC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Amadeo Giraldo hit a great ball. Amadeo Giraldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lucas Ihazintu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fernan Rodas's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. The supporters of RESOPLANTE booed when Uspallata AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amadeo Giraldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernan Rodas might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lucas Ihazintu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fernan Rodas ran back to his position shaking his head. Lucas Ihazintu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernan Rodas in the 20th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Fernan Rodas sped through Uspallata AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lucas Ihazintu. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fernan Rodas in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lucas Ihazintu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fernan Rodas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Uspallata AFC's Julio Silban got a free kick in the 36th minute. Fernan Rodas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fernan Rodas might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lucas Ihazintu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fernan Rodas ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Fernan Rodas put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Lucas Ihazintu.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amadeo Giraldo made a kick off. Uspallata AFC's Lucas Ihazintu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Uspallata AFC from getting a goal against them. The corner ended in Fernan Rodas almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Uspallata AFC's Lucas Ihazintu did a great save. After a rather tough play, Uspallata AFC's Haroldo Bieito got a free kick in the 59th minute. Lucas Ihazintu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aureliano Solustiano in the 60th minute. Fernan Rodas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th match minute, Uspallata AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julio Silban to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute Fernan Rodas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Ihazintu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martin Eufrasio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Fernan Rodas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rdth minute of the game Fernan Rodas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uspallata AFC's Lucas Ihazintu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Fernan Rodas sped through Uspallata AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lucas Ihazintu. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Fernan Rodas put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Lucas Ihazintu. Fernan Rodas struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Lucas Ihazintu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RESOPLANTE. In the 95th match minute, Uspallata AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urbano Lohitzun to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 98 minutes, Fernan Rodas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RESOPLANTE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernan Rodas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. RESOPLANTE played a much better game than Uspallata AFC and deserved their victory. The Uspallata AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
