Sixto Mambru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Feliberto Benvide tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaudencio Mino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Prospero Che tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10th minute Freddy Abaunza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prospero Che saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the game, Victor Aresti was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rivadavia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tammaro FC the free kick. Rivadavia's Victor Aresti got his second yellow card of the match in the 17th minute. The referee ordered Victor Aresti off the ground. The supporters of Tammaro FC booed when Rivadavia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Aresti didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Cecilio Valery in the 19th minute really tested Prospero Che's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. If Cayetano Aguirre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute, Cayetano Aguirre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Tammaro FC's zone, Cayetano Aguirre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Feliberto Benvide came out of the goal and Cayetano Aguirre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Tammaro FC's Gaudencio Mino got a free kick in the 34th minute. Freddy Abaunza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prospero Che having to interfere. Ciro Abel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Prospero Che read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Freddy Abaunza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Tammaro FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Rivadavia were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cayetano Aguirre made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Tammaro FC's goalkeeper Feliberto Benvide had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cayetano Aguirre. Gaudencio Mino kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Prospero Che showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freddy Abaunza in the 62nd minute of the match. Prospero Che showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddy Abaunza, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. A collision led to Rivadavia getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Sixto Mambru hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ciro Abel in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Prospero Che saved Rivadavia from getting behind. Prospero Che made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddy Abaunza in the 79th minute of play. In the 80th minute of the game, Placido Felipo landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Freddy Abaunza during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 81st minute, Freddy Abaunza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Eustacio Etxatxu came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Rivadavia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eustacio Etxatxu couldn't finish the play. 86 minutes into the game, Eustacio Etxatxu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Feliberto Benvide. Eustacio Etxatxu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Ciro Abel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prospero Che having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, Ciro Abel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Prospero Che. Rivadavia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ciro Abel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Rivadavia had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
