Spectators: 6457 (Terracing: 5457, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Aristides Lander got the match started through his kick off. A collision led to Los Olivos getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Leandro Cresitobalo hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Montiel AFC's zone, Aristides Lander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Candido Quintana came out of the goal and Aristides Lander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Aristides Lander came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Los Olivos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aristides Lander couldn't finish the play. Valentin Paio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Javier Mikeldi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. German Jordy's late challenge caught a Montiel AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. German Jordy helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Montiel AFC booed when Los Olivos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. German Jordy didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Los Olivos's German Jordy got a free kick in the 39th minute. Aristides Lander struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Candido Quintana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Olivos. After the first half Montiel AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alberto Alonso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Aristides Lander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aristides Lander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Candido Quintana having to interfere. Benedicto Blasi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Candido Quintana having to make a save. When Claudio Lluc fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Montiel AFC's protests and gave Claudio Lluc a yellow card for diving instead. In the 64th minute, Claudio Lluc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Los Olivos's Benedicto Blasi got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dalmacio Suero hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Alberto Alonso who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 80thth minute tested the skills of Valentin Paio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 98th minute of the match Christian Egun shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Valentin Paio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Montiel AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
