Ramon Lohitzun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Concepción. Ullún's Ramon Lohitzun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruperto Ortzi in the 14th minute of play. After 15 minutes, Conrado Cordeal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Concepción and the Ullún players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 18th minute, Conrado Cordeal made a precise shot to the right of Ramon Lohitzun. Ullún's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. If Dalmacio Hitzeder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Conrado Cordeal was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 24 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Concepción's Conrado Cordeal got a free kick in the 25th minute. Ladislao Osasun was out of position in the 30 minute of play, and Florencio Kepa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Florencio Kepa really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. In the 37th minute, Dalmacio Hitzeder fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 39 played minutes Concepción got a freekick which was hit by Federico Bermudez. In the 42nd minute, Victorio Jerico got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Herminio Mattin charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Herminio Mattin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 44 played minutes Ullún got a freekick which was hit by Herminio Mattin. A collision led to Ullún getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Gabriel Nahia hit a great ball. In the 47th minute of the match Jose Tabb shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ramon Lohitzun showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Florencio Kepa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ladislao Osasun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florencio Kepa in the 51st minute of the match. In the 54th minute Florencio Kepa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ladislao Osasun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 61 played minutes Concepción got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Cristofol. Florentino Urtzi's late challenge caught a Ullún's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain.
