The Carranza FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jimeno Sandalio should have stopped the shot. In the 21st minute Gervasio Iratze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimeno Sandalio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aquiles Checa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martin Mannie read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. After having played for 26 minutes, Aquiles Checa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carranza FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aquiles Checa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pablo Cugat's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jimeno Sandalio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Carranza FC's zone, Gervasio Iratze stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jimeno Sandalio came out of the goal and Gervasio Iratze tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gervasio Iratze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Jimeno Sandalio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fermin Firme made a kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Aquiles Checa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carranza FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aquiles Checa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Martin Mannie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustin Fortun, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 65th minute, Eleuterio Orlo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquiles Checa in the 66th minute of play forced Duraznito's goalkeeper Martin Mannie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gervasio Iratze blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jimeno Sandalio having to make a save. Jimeno Sandalio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pablo Cugat, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Arnaldo Weather was shown his second yellow card after 93 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Arnaldo Weather kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Uriel Amaya, 95 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Carranza FC's Jimeno Sandalio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pablo Cugat in the 97th minute of play.
