Spectators: 7135 (Terracing: 5353, Seating: 1641, VIP seats: 141) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Samuel Felipillo started the match with the kick off. Ernesto Peyo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Arnoldo Lizardi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Union de Santa Fe's Emiliano Ponce got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 16th minute, Jorge Tibalt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Serafino Barto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Union de Santa Fe's supporters rose to their feet, but Serafino Barto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Efrain Domiku breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Union de Santa Fe's Samuel Felipillo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Efrain Domiku. That made the score 1-0 after 21 minutes of play. Fermin Policarpio hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute, Samuel Felipillo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Serafino Barto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Efrain Domiku having to interfere. In the 30th minute of the match, Samuel Felipillo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Efrain Domiku saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Peyo in the 34th minute of play forced Union de Santa Fe's goalkeeper Arnoldo Lizardi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ernesto Peyo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnoldo Lizardi having to interfere. In the 45thth minute of the game Ernesto Peyo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Union de Santa Fe's Arnoldo Lizardi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

Efrain Domiku didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Serafino Barto went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After having played for 62 minutes, Serafino Barto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Union de Santa Fe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Serafino Barto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Samuel Felipillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Serafino Barto came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Union de Santa Fe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serafino Barto couldn't finish the play. Efrain Domiku took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Felipillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 86 minutes, Samuel Felipillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Union de Santa Fe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samuel Felipillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Guerrero FC defense, Samuel Felipillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Efrain Domiku. The Guerrero FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Efrain Domiku should have stopped the shot. Union de Santa Fe were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
