The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Eliseo Chabier the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Buscapina protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Eliseo Chabier had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 35th minute, one of Buscapina:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Buscapina. Humberto Sanchez had in the 37thth minute some difficulties stopping Augusto Mikelar's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After some careless play in the Buscapina defense, Augusto Mikelar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Humberto Sanchez. The Buscapina fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Humberto Sanchez should have stopped the shot. Santiago Mikolas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Humberto Sanchez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antonio Errolan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, labase's Everardo Jaunti got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 61st minute, Teodoro Jaen sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and labase's Cristo Frances didn't even have to move. Antonio Errolan came free with the goalkeeper in the 63rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Cristo Frances could save by the left post. Cristo Frances made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antonio Errolan in the 69th minute. Leonel Arano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The labase fans cheered their team off the field, for while Buscapina had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
