Cobres's Astor Leobardo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 11th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Eusebio Orlo but with some difficulty. If Diego Uhin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 14 minutes into the match, La Academia's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Uhin came free, but Eusebio Orlo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adolfo Medero hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Esteve Quiroga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermengildo Mikelar, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Felix Inautzi hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Silvio Guillen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cirilo Bertol during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 25th match minute, La Academia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cirilo Bertol to maneuver through the defense. Diego Uhin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Eusebio Orlo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mariano Gorbea hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Cobres's Eusebio Orlo threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Diego Uhin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Silvio Guillen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eusebio Orlo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Mariano Gorbea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mariano Gorbea charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mariano Gorbea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, La Academia's Mariano Gorbea got a free kick in the 33rd minute. A hard shot by Joel Pasqual from long distance, 33 minutes into the match, got Eusebio Orlo's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Hermengildo Mikelar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Esteve Quiroga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dante Ibon kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Diego Uhin fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Eusebio Orlo, passed just outside the right post. Diego Uhin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusebio Orlo having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hermengildo Mikelar to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Felix Inautzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, La Academia's Benedicto Gaur tried to score from far away in the 54th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Eusebio Orlo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvio Guillen in the 58th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermengildo Mikelar in the 61st minute of play forced Cobres's goalkeeper Esteve Quiroga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Cobres booed when La Academia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariano Gorbea didn't get a good kick on the ball. 65 minutes into the match, La Academia's goal looked a bit too open when Silvio Guillen came free, but Eusebio Orlo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Esteve Quiroga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermengildo Mikelar in the 66th minute of the match. Silvio Guillen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 75 played minutes Cobres got a freekick which was hit by Joel Pasqual. If Bartolo Caetano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Dante Ibon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cobres's supporters rose to their feet, but Dante Ibon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eusebio Orlo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Diego Uhin, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 86 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Eusebio Orlo was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. If Diego Uhin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rdth minute of the game Diego Uhin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Academia's Eusebio Orlo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eusebio Orlo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvio Guillen in the 94th minute of play. La Academia succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Cobres had controlled the match.
