Federico Eliazar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 7 minutes, Silvano Austin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Calingasta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvano Austin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eusebio Hunfredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emiliano Oidor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eusebio Hunfredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emiliano Oidor in the 16th minute of the match. Emiliano Oidor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 23 played minutes Perico FC got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Tartalo. Abelardo Tartalo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Botello having to interfere. In the 26th match minute, Calingasta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emiliano Oidor to maneuver through the defense. Omar Pelayo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Calingasta's zone, Omar Pelayo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomás Botello came out of the goal and Omar Pelayo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mariano Mino kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match.

Perico FC's Lorenzo Lluterio shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 55th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Tomás Botello but with some difficulty. Emiliano Oidor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Perico FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Gaspar Ur hit a great ball. Ladislao Bras charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ladislao Bras the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 65th minute, Ladislao Bras hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 66 played minutes, Calingasta's Carolo Fernendo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eusebio Hunfredo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Calingasta reached it. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Perico FC's goalkeeper Eusebio Hunfredo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Emiliano Oidor came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Calingasta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emiliano Oidor couldn't finish the play. Emiliano Oidor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute, Perico FC's Abelardo Tartalo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Abelardo Tartalo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomás Botello read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Calingasta's Tomás Botello proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Calingasta from getting a goal against them. Abelardo Tartalo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Tomás Botello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Perico FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Perico FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
