After 29 played minutes, Rauch FC's Serafin Olentzaro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ramon Montrell came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rauch FC reached it. Retiro FC's Igor Bero got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Faustino Bento was the one to do the kick off. The long shot by Serafin Olentzaro in the 56th minute really tested Ramon Montrell's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 67 minutes, Silvio Santana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Retiro FC and the Rauch FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Vinicio Pero came out of the goal and Arnoldo Illan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Rauch FC defense, Arnoldo Illan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vinicio Pero. The Rauch FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vinicio Pero should have stopped the shot. Igor Bero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Denis Dacio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Vinicio Pero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Rauch FC's Vinicio Pero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denis Dacio in the 93rd minute of play. In the 96th minute Denis Dacio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vinicio Pero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 98 minutes, Cristobal Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Retiro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristobal Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Retiro FC fully deserved thier win.
