Spectators: 7231 (Terracing: 5458, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 100) 3 minutes into the match, Pelojo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fausto Patrido came free, but Esteve Cordeal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isidro Behe made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Felix Ihazintu sent off a good shot on target. Melchor Nazario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Julio Atarrabi hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. 13 minutes in the game, Melchor Nazario fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Isidro Behe having to interfere. When Felix Ihazintu came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Pelojo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Ihazintu couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Pelojo FC booed when Mascherano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julio Atarrabi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edgard Solustiano, 18 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Melchor Nazario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute, Felix Ihazintu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pelojo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Melchor Nazario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Melchor Nazario recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 42nd minute, Melchor Nazario got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Felix Ihazintu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Isidro Behe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Ihazintu got free with Isidro Behe in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teo Arnas was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Fausto Patrido managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mascherano's supporters rose to their feet, but Fausto Patrido was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Esteve Cordeal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Pelojo FC's Primitivo Panfilo got a free kick in the 55th minute. Pelojo FC's Esteve Cordeal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teo Arnas in the 59th minute of play. If Melchor Nazario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Felix Ihazintu might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Isidro Behe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felix Ihazintu ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 64th minute Paulo Theodore suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. After 64 minutes, Felix Ihazintu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pelojo FC and the Mascherano players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 64th minute, Felix Ihazintu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Esteve Cordeal made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Fausto Patrido sent off a good shot on target. When Elpidio Sergi fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mascherano's protests and gave Elpidio Sergi a yellow card for diving instead. After 76 minutes of play, Mascherano's Fausto Patrido made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Esteve Cordeal was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Mascherano booed when Pelojo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolfo Tibalt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fausto Patrido could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Esteve Cordeal made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Pelojo FC's zone, Fausto Patrido stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esteve Cordeal came out of the goal and Fausto Patrido tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Melchor Nazario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Melchor Nazario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidro Behe having to interfere. If Melchor Nazario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Pelojo FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
