Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Teo Remir took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 7 minutes, Jonatan Herena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Verga Erecta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonatan Herena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Los Verga Erecta defense, Jorge Bazkoare kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Celedonio Estebe. The Los Verga Erecta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Celedonio Estebe should have stopped the shot. Los Verga Erecta's Filomeno Txerran got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Club Deportivo Palermo getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Benigno Mateo hit a great ball. Cipriano Montxo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonatan Herena in the 20th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonatan Herena in the 21st minute of play forced Club Deportivo Palermo's goalkeeper Cipriano Montxo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Club Deportivo Palermo's Cipriano Montxo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonatan Herena in the 24th minute of play. A collision led to Club Deportivo Palermo getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Benigno Mateo hit a great ball. In the 29th minute Filomeno Txerran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cipriano Montxo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st match minute, Club Deportivo Palermo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casimiro Maurino to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Club Deportivo Palermo's zone, Jonatan Herena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cipriano Montxo came out of the goal and Jonatan Herena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cipriano Montxo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filomeno Txerran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The attack was good, but when Jonatan Herena in the 40th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Filomeno Txerran's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cipriano Montxo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Filomeno Txerran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Teodosio Tohias charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teodosio Tohias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Teodosio Tohias hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jonatan Herena to strike the kick off in the second half. When Natalio Egoitz fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Deportivo Palermo's protests and gave Natalio Egoitz a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Los Verga Erecta booed when Club Deportivo Palermo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natalio Egoitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filomeno Txerran could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Cipriano Montxo made a huge save. In the 59th minute, Natalio Egoitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute, Filomeno Txerran made a precise shot to the right of Cipriano Montxo. Club Deportivo Palermo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. If Jonatan Herena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 71 minutes, Teo Remir managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Filomeno Txerran could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Cipriano Montxo made a huge save. If Jonatan Herena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 81 in the game by Filomeno Txerran from a close distance when the talented Cipriano Montxo managed to make a qualified save. Club Deportivo Palermo's players were relieved. Club Deportivo Palermo's Cipriano Montxo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Club Deportivo Palermo from getting a goal against them. If Filomeno Txerran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonatan Herena had several of the Club Deportivo Palermo's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 90 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-3 score and a disappointed Cipriano Montxo as he didn't even see the shot coming. The Club Deportivo Palermo fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Los Verga Erecta were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
