Spectators: 6678 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 0) Andrade's Ricardo Gaizkine started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Eliseo Artizar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alfonso Eleazar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Artizar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ricardo Gaizkine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Leon Boni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eliseo Artizar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso Eleazar having to interfere. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ciriaco Baristo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso Eleazar having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eliseo Artizar to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Eliseo Artizar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Firmat's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliseo Artizar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfonso Eleazar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpected shot in the 55th minute by Ciriaco Baristo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 59 played minutes Andrade got a freekick which was hit by Julio Fagondo. Alfonso Eleazar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Artizar in the 63rd minute of the match. Firmat were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after Andrade's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hector Joachim took the corner. At last the ball reached Eliseo Artizar at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Andrade. 0-1. After some careless play in the Andrade defense, Ciriaco Baristo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfonso Eleazar. The Andrade fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfonso Eleazar should have stopped the shot. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 71st minute of the game. One of Andrade:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Firmat:s goal. Firmat were awarded a corner in the 74th minute after Andrade's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hector Joachim took the corner. Firmat's Francisco Evis was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alfonso Eleazar in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After having played for 79 minutes, Ciriaco Baristo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Firmat's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciriaco Baristo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eliseo Artizar struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Alfonso Eleazar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Firmat. If Ciriaco Baristo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andrade's Alfonso Eleazar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Artizar in the 88th minute of play. After having played for 89 minutes, Ciriaco Baristo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Firmat's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciriaco Baristo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
