When Jonatan Artaldo fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pilcaniyeu's protests and gave Jonatan Artaldo a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Pilcaniyeu's Jonatan Artaldo got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 12thth minute of the game Eustacio Salvadore who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but IL GROSSO's Domingo Chesus was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aureliano Primeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Maximo Amaya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Ricardo Xabier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pilcaniyeu's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricardo Xabier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Domingo Chesus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. IL GROSSO's Domingo Chesus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonatan Artaldo in the 20th minute of play. Ricardo Xabier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingo Chesus having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Jonatan Artaldo made a precise shot to the right of Domingo Chesus. IL GROSSO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Laureano Etxatxu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fidel Guilabertus in the 38th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Ricardo Xabier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Domingo Chesus was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. If Ricardo Xabier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fidel Guilabertus to strike the kick off in the second half. Fidel Guilabertus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56th minute Ricardo Xabier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingo Chesus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 57 minutes, Guaberto Florin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pilcaniyeu and the IL GROSSO players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 64th minute Baldomero Cordaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laureano Etxatxu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maximo Amaya scored 1-4 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Domingo Chesus, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 69th minute, Eustacio Salvadore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maximo Amaya struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Domingo Chesus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pilcaniyeu. Ricardo Xabier received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Domingo Chesus came out and tried to block the shot, but Ricardo Xabier slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 79th minute. In the 85th minute Ricardo Xabier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingo Chesus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to IL GROSSO getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Tomas Mosen hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Pilcaniyeu's Norberto Gasteiz tried to score from far away in the 87th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 89 played minutes IL GROSSO got a freekick which was hit by Ovidio Isias. The supporters of IL GROSSO booed when Pilcaniyeu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximo Amaya didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pilcaniyeu's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
