Antaje FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Antaje FC's zone, Claudio Jago stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerardo Serafo came out of the goal and Claudio Jago tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Jago in the 27th minute of play forced Antaje FC's goalkeeper Gerardo Serafo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute Isaias Raulo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerardo Serafo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Feliberto Mancio got free with Tobias Romo in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jaime Marz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Antaje FC's Gerardo Serafo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Jago in the 52nd minute of play. When Isaias Raulo came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Marucho FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isaias Raulo couldn't finish the play. Jaime Marz might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tobias Romo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jaime Marz ran back to his position shaking his head. Isaias Raulos short, quick shot in the 63rdth minute got Gerardo Serafo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Isaac Maties kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the match, Antaje FC's goalkeeper Gerardo Serafo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isaias Raulo. If Isaias Raulo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute, Jonatan Eguzki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Igor Ondino charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. If Claudio Jago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gerardo Serafo made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Isaias Raulo sent off a good shot on target. When Isaac Maties fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Antaje FC's protests and gave Isaac Maties a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Antaje FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Isaac Maties hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Marucho FC's Gerardo Serafo threw himself towards the right post 88 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Claudio Jago, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 90th minute of the match Esteban Ekaitz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gerardo Serafo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Marucho FC's Tobias Romo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliberto Mancio in the 96th minute of play. When the match was over Marucho FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Antaje FC throughout the match.
