Tacuarí's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San Nicolas F.C. the free kick. After 5 played minutes Tacuarí got a freekick which was hit by Eulalio Cordarin. Aquiles Sagrario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciriaco Iban, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After 16 played minutes Candido Indar rounded Tacuarí's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Edgard Montrel kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciriaco Iban in the 21st minute of play forced San Nicolas F.C.'s goalkeeper Aquiles Sagrario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gogo Herensuge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Candido Indar in the 23rd minute of the match. Edgard Montrel hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Roman Mikolas, 25 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Eulalio Cordarin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Aquiles Sagrario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 30 minutes into the game, Ciriaco Iban cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Aquiles Sagrario was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Candido Indar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aquiles Sagrario didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ciriaco Iban went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Eulalio Cordarin got his second yellow card in the match during the 40th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Eulalio Cordarin hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. If Candido Indar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ciriaco Iban fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquiles Sagrario having to interfere. Jeronimo Chuse's late challenge caught a Tacuarí's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jeronimo Chuse helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, San Nicolas F.C.'s Jeronimo Chuse got a free kick in the 46th minute. 48 minutes into the match, Ciriaco Iban had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aquiles Sagrario. San Nicolas F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ciriaco Iban was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

San Nicolas F.C.'s Aquiles Sagrario proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save San Nicolas F.C. from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in San Nicolas F.C.'s zone, Ciriaco Iban stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aquiles Sagrario came out of the goal and Ciriaco Iban tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fidel Gaizko in the 65th minute of play forced San Nicolas F.C.'s goalkeeper Aquiles Sagrario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 67 minutes, Ciriaco Iban managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tacuarí's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciriaco Iban was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ciriaco Iban fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquiles Sagrario having to interfere. The supporters of Tacuarí booed when San Nicolas F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Candido Indar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ciriaco Iban could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Aquiles Sagrario made a huge save. When Ramon Reynardo came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the San Nicolas F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramon Reynardo couldn't finish the play. If Fidel Gaizko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ciriaco Iban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tacuarí's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
