Edelmiro Llope received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Aristides Kusko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Melquiades Arotza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeo Gar having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, Rosario FC's Paulo Lidon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aristides Kusko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Melquiades Arotza fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Halcones Galacticos's protests and gave Melquiades Arotza a yellow card for diving instead. In the 14th minute, Melquiades Arotza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Paulo Lidon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulo Lidon's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 18thth minute, Aristides Kusko skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a defensive mix-up in Halcones Galacticos's zone, Paulo Lidon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aristides Kusko came out of the goal and Paulo Lidon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Edgardo Lop had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristobal Arce kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edelmiro Llope in the 40th minute of play forced Halcones Galacticos's goalkeeper Aristides Kusko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Simon Bartoli during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Halcones Galacticos getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Simon Bartoli hit a great ball. Halcones Galacticos's Aristides Kusko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edelmiro Llope in the 41st minute of play. Aristides Kusko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulo Lidon in the 43rd minute. Aristides Kusko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edelmiro Llope, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Melquiades Arotza to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Rosario FC's Lisandro Hegoi got a free kick in the 56th minute. Aristides Kusko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Lidon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aristides Kusko came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Rosario FC's Paulo Lidon. But to his dismay, Paulo Lidon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Paulo Lidon got in the 69th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Aristides Kusko handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. If Paulo Lidon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Cristobal Arce managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rosario FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristobal Arce was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aristides Kusko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 76 minutes into the match, Halcones Galacticos's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Lidon came free, but Aristides Kusko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 76 played minutes Halcones Galacticos got a freekick which was hit by Simon Bartoli. Edelmiro Llope fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aristides Kusko having to interfere. Edelmiro Llope recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Paulo Lidon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 85 played minutes Halcones Galacticos got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Arias. Paulo Lidon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 87 minutes into the match, Halcones Galacticos's goal looked a bit too open when Cristobal Arce came free, but Aristides Kusko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rosario FC's Cristobal Arce got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 92nd minute, Eusebio Esdras hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd minute, Simon Bartoli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
