The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Victor Incendio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eloy Franco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Incendio, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Victor Incendio might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eloy Franco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Victor Incendio ran back to his position shaking his head. Tomás Leoiar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Eloy Franco made a huge save. In the 16th minute, Tomás Leoiar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Victor Incendio might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eloy Franco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Victor Incendio ran back to his position shaking his head. Tomás Leoiar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Velez 94's Eloy Franco got control of the ball when Tomás Leoiar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Victor Incendio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eloy Franco having to interfere. If Tomás Leoiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomás Leoiar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eloy Franco having to make a save. Eloy Franco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Incendio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Geronimo Monico made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Velez 94's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Incendio came free, but Eloy Franco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eloy Franco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Incendio, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Eloy Franco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Incendio in the 59th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Velez 94's zone, Victor Incendio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eloy Franco came out of the goal and Victor Incendio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eloy Franco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Victor Incendio went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Victor Incendio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Velez 94's Geronimo Monico got a free kick in the 79th minute. Julio Aritza charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Julio Aritza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Velez 94 getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Julio Aritza hit a great ball. Eloy Franco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Florencio Gutxi went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florencio Gutxi in the 91st minute of play forced Velez 94's goalkeeper Eloy Franco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Velez 94's goalkeeper Eloy Franco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Velez 94's Eloy Franco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Incendio in the 95th minute of play. There was no doubt that Trenel AFC were the better team. Trenel AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
