Orlando Santiago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddy Hever having to interfere. Adolfo Cilio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elvio Osasun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Gumaro having to interfere. Gaudencio Lauro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Freddy Hever tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gaudencio Lauro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Adolfo Cilio was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 52nd minute. Tumbaya's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Elvio Osasun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Orlando Santiago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Freddy Hever tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gaudencio Lauro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Orlando Santiago struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Freddy Hever didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Iron Maiden F C. Gaudencio Lauro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddy Hever having to interfere. In the 68th match minute, Iron Maiden F C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Santiago to maneuver through the defense. Tumbaya's Freddy Hever played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Santiago in the 75th minute of play. Freddy Hever showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaudencio Lauro in the 84th minute of the match. 86 minutes into the game, Gaudencio Lauro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Freddy Hever was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Adolfo Cilio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Flavio Gumaro made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Iron Maiden F C's zone, Elvio Osasun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flavio Gumaro came out of the goal and Elvio Osasun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Iron Maiden F C were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Tumbaya for a fine match.
