Spectators: 7160 (Terracing: 5457, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 30) Calzada FC's Ruben Benvide started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 0-1 became the score in the 11th minute when Mariano Orlo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. With a little luck, Pichanal FC's Erubiel Salomon got control of the ball when Ruperto Baldovino tried to sneak it across the goal line. Calzada FC's Florentino Eduino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Gabirel in the 30th minute of play. In the 34th minute, Laureano Rufo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Florentino Eduino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximo Ferrer in the 35th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Calzada FC's goal looked a bit too open when Maximo Ferrer came free, but Florentino Eduino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ruperto Baldovino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erubiel Salomon having to interfere. When Laureano Rufo fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Calzada FC's protests and gave Laureano Rufo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 43rd minute, Laureano Rufo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th minute, Carmelo Quintyn sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Calzada FC's Florentino Eduino didn't even have to move. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maximo Ferrer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Felix Mouricio hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maximo Ferrer in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Florentino Eduino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mariano Orlo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Florentino Eduino made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Calzada FC's Felix Mouricio got a free kick in the 61st minute. Adrian Gabirel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florentino Eduino having to interfere. 70 minutes into the game, Gogo Goito was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pichanal FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Calzada FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Pichanal FC's Gogo Goito got a free kick in the 70th minute. Laureano Rufo missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 72 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Erubiel Salomon right hand side. In the 76th minute Maximo Ferrer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florentino Eduino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the game, Maximo Ferrer recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Florentino Eduino. Maximo Ferrer showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. The supporters of Calzada FC booed when Pichanal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celso Abecia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pichanal FC's Erubiel Salomon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruperto Baldovino in the 83rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Maximo Ferrer kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Florentino Eduino. That made the score 0-4 in the 91 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ruperto Baldovino in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erubiel Salomon saved Pichanal FC from getting behind. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Pichanal FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
