With an extended leg and a bit of luck Damian Jaunti prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Filomeno Astrada came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Los Guerreros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filomeno Astrada couldn't finish the play. Damian Jaunti was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Prudencio Veto capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Prudencio Veto really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Los Guerreros's Prudencio Veto got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Damian Jaunti made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Filomeno Astrada sent off a good shot on target. Prudencio Veto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Damian Jaunti read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Chivilcoy's Timoteo Loiola got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Filomeno Astrada in the 38thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Damian Jaunti, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Prudencio Veto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Damian Jaunti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chivilcoy's Damian Jaunti proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Chivilcoy from getting a goal against them.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Timoteo Loiola to strike the kick off in the second half. Damian Jaunti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prudencio Veto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Timoteo Loiola during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Timoteo Loiola hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Norberto Paio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 55th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Damian Jaunti. Chivilcoy's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Prudencio Veto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Damian Jaunti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Damian Jaunti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prudencio Veto in the 65th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Godofredo Beila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Filomeno Astrada recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Damian Jaunti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prudencio Veto in the 73rd minute of play. When Los Guerreros's Filomeno Astrada in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chivilcoy's goalie prevented a goal. In the 82nd minute Prudencio Veto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damian Jaunti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Damian Jaunti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filomeno Astrada in the 84th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prudencio Veto in the 88th minute of play forced Chivilcoy's goalkeeper Damian Jaunti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Prudencio Veto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Damian Jaunti. Chivilcoy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Prudencio Veto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0.
