The supporters of Piamonte booed when Zion was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moises Piearres didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cleto Harriet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clemente Delfino, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. If Nicolas Lauaxeta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clemente Delfino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Baltasar Erauso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Augusto Ladio went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Augusto Ladio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Baltasar Erauso made a huge save. Nicolas Lauaxeta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Piamonte:s Baltasar Erauso showed great skill when he stopped Artemio Jacindo:s penalty. A collision led to Piamonte getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Marcial Efraim hit a great ball. In the 48th minute, Nicolas Ezkerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The free kick resulted in a very good chance to score when Nicolas Ezkerra kicked a really tricky shot on goal. Baltasar Erauso never had to step in, however, because the ball went just left of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Clemente Delfino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Nicolas Lauaxeta made a precise shot to the right of Cleto Harriet. Zion's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. With a little luck, Zion's Cleto Harriet got control of the ball when Nicolas Lauaxeta tried to sneak it across the goal line. Clemente Delfino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cleto Harriet read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. In the 74th minute of the match Artemio Jacindo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Baltasar Erauso showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicolas Lauaxeta got free with Cleto Harriet in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 85th minute, Marcial Efraim ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cleto Harriet was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Augusto Ladio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute, Nicolas Ezkerra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
