Uriel Rafe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Fagondo in the 11th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Pirulines's goal looked a bit too open when Orlando Fagondo came free, but Uriel Rafe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Pineralitos FC's Reynaldo Oliveiro got a free kick in the 14th minute. Eusebio Nardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pineralitos FC's goalkeeper Uriel Rudolfo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Eusebio Nardo put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Uriel Rudolfo. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Orlando Fagondo made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Leon Lesardo made a precise shot to the right of Uriel Rudolfo. Pineralitos FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After having played for 58 minutes, Eusebio Nardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pirulines's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eusebio Nardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eusebio Nardo might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Uriel Rudolfo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eusebio Nardo ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Pineralitos FC defense, Wilfredo Mincho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Uriel Rudolfo. The Pineralitos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Uriel Rudolfo should have stopped the shot. After 64 minutes, Santo Martino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pineralitos FC and the Pirulines players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 64 played minutes Pineralitos FC got a freekick which was hit by Santo Martino. If Eusebio Nardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 68 in the game by Wilfredo Mincho from a close distance when the talented Uriel Rudolfo managed to make a qualified save. Pineralitos FC's players were relieved. In the 69th minute, Virgilio Paublo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 70 minutes into the match, Pineralitos FC's Leonel Amor broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 73 minutes into the match, Pirulines's Wilfredo Mincho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Uriel Rudolfo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Uriel Rudolfo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wilfredo Mincho in the 78th minute. Uriel Rudolfo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Wilfredo Mincho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 78 minute of play. Eusebio Nardo struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Uriel Rudolfo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pirulines. Eusebio Nardo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 91st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Wilfredo Mincho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Pirulines had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
