In the 3rd minute, one of TIRE Y AFLOJE F.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for TIRE Y AFLOJE F.C.. Fidel Quintana might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teo Juvenal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fidel Quintana ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Fidel Quintana managed to get in a good position for a shot. TIRE Y AFLOJE F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Fidel Quintana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teo Juvenal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 12 minutes into the match, Los Joti´s 's goal looked a bit too open when Fidel Quintana came free, but Teo Juvenal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amador Froylan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eleuterio Mirande, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind TIRE Y AFLOJE F.C.'s goalkeeper Amador Froylan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 18th minute, Honorio Mincho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fidel Quintana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fidel Quintana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teo Juvenal having to interfere. After a rather tough play, TIRE Y AFLOJE F.C.'s Emanuel Umbruso got a free kick in the 28th minute. After some careless play in the TIRE Y AFLOJE F.C. defense, Javier Behe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amador Froylan. The TIRE Y AFLOJE F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amador Froylan should have stopped the shot. Fidel Quintana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teo Juvenal having to interfere. When Fidel Quintana came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the TIRE Y AFLOJE F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fidel Quintana couldn't finish the play. Teo Juvenal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fidel Quintana in the 44th minute of play.

In the 58th minute, Eleuterio Mirande got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Angelo Luzaide hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Los Joti´s 's Eleuterio Mirande got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eustaquio Errolan kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Amador Froylan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Javier Behe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Fidel Quintana came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the TIRE Y AFLOJE F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fidel Quintana couldn't finish the play. TIRE Y AFLOJE F.C.'s Amador Froylan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Javier Behe in the 73rd minute of play. Honorio Mincho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amador Froylan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Javier Behe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th minute, Honorio Mincho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eleuterio Mirande fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amador Froylan having to interfere. If Eleuterio Mirande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the TIRE Y AFLOJE F.C. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Los Joti´s .
