Gorina FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Romeo Igon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Honorio Luar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Romeo Igon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silvano Sindo was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Romeo Igon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guido Cayo's late challenge caught a Gorina FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. With a little luck, Napostá's Silvano Sindo got control of the ball when Honorio Luar tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 31 minutes, Ildefonso Gonzales mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Napostá and the Gorina FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Napostá's Ildefonso Gonzales got a free kick in the 31st minute. Amado Larpe charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amado Larpe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The Gorina FC fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when Gorina FC's Honorio Luar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Gorina FC's Lucas Bertol proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Gorina FC from getting a goal against them. Luisito Lauro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lucas Bertol read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Honorio Luar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Silvano Sindo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romeo Igon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Venancio Sengrat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Bertol having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romeo Igon in the 87th minute of play forced Napostá's goalkeeper Silvano Sindo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Napostá's Silvano Sindo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorio Luar in the 89th minute of play. If Honorio Luar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Romeo Igon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gorina FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
