After a rather tough play, Desamparados FC's Jorge Urdaspal got a free kick in the 7th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Desamparados FC's zone, Genaro Primo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernardino Gilen came out of the goal and Genaro Primo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Bariloche booed when Desamparados FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fulgencio Goi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute, Fulgencio Goi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Genaro Primo sped through Desamparados FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bernardino Gilen. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hipolito Matteo during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 24 played minutes Desamparados FC got a freekick which was hit by Hipolito Matteo. Desamparados FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Leonides Rainerio scored to the left of an out of position Bernardino Gilen, making the score, 2-0. Bernardino Gilen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julio Sindo in the 37th minute of the match. Desamparados FC's Angelino Inge got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Desamparados FC booed when Bariloche was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerardo Chumo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jorge Urdaspal struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Mauricio Quinteros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Desamparados FC. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Bernardino Gilen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Genaro Primo in the 52nd minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Genaro Primo notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Desamparados FC's Bernardino Gilen. Bernardino Gilen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bariloche's Julio Sindo got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Julio Sindo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julio Sindo in the 72nd minute of play forced Desamparados FC's goalkeeper Bernardino Gilen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 78 played minutes Desamparados FC got a freekick which was hit by Gaspar Lidon. In the 81st minute, Hipolito Matteo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernardino Gilen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Genaro Primo, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 85th minute of the game, Cosme Quintan landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Hipolito Matteo kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Desamparados FC defense, Genaro Primo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernardino Gilen. The Desamparados FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernardino Gilen should have stopped the shot.
