Federico Clodio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hipolito Gilesindo having to interfere. Federico Clodio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Federico Clodio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hipolito Gilesindo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Federico Clodio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th match minute, Sobala Atletic Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Solustiano to maneuver through the defense. If Simon Jokin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hipolito Gilesindo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Jokin in the 33rd minute of the match. Hipolito Gilesindo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Clodio in the 38th minute of play. Federico Clodio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hipolito Gilesindo having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edgardo Bernat to make the kick off. Simon Jokin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hipolito Gilesindo having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Sebastian Solustiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Simon Jokin came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the La Paz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Simon Jokin couldn't finish the play. Hipolito Gilesindo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Federico Clodio went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Federico Clodio got free with Hipolito Gilesindo in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 67 minutes, Artemio Virila managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sobala Atletic Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Artemio Virila was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Federico Clodio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 74 minutes in the game, Artemio Virila dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in La Paz fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 75th minute. Penalty! Cayetano Janpier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgardo Bernat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute, Artemio Virila left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sobala Atletic Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. If Artemio Virila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. La Paz's Cayetano Janpier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgardo Bernat in the 91st minute of play. Edgardo Bernat might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cayetano Janpier. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edgardo Bernat ran back to his position shaking his head. After 97 minutes, Sebastian Solustiano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sobala Atletic Club and the La Paz players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of La Paz booed when Sobala Atletic Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Solustiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Simon Jokin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Hipolito Gilesindo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hipolito Gilesindo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Simon Jokin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 100 minute of play. La Paz were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
