The supporters of Macarone Fc booed when Martínez AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Piearres didn't get a good kick on the ball. 11 minutes into the game, Macarone Fc's Patricio Balesio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Etxatxu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Martínez AFC's zone, Patricio Balesio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Etxatxu came out of the goal and Patricio Balesio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 16 minutes into the match, Patricio Balesio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Julio Etxatxu, 2-0. If Agustin Iztal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martínez AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Agustin Iztal 27 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. Luciano Benino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albino Gaskon in the 31st minute of play. A collision led to Martínez AFC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. David Piearres hit a great ball. Patricio Balesio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 40thth minute, Julio Etxatxu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Martínez AFC's Julio Etxatxu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Martínez AFC from getting a goal against them.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by David Piearres during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 53 played minutes Martínez AFC got a freekick which was hit by David Piearres. After 56 minutes of play, Macarone Fc's Agustin Iztal made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Etxatxu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Albino Gaskon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Luciano Benino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Agustin Iztal struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Julio Etxatxu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Macarone Fc. Patricio Balesio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Etxatxu having to interfere. Luciano Benino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Santio in the 74th minute of play. Macarone Fc's Luciano Benino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Macarone Fc from getting a goal against them. In the 82nd minute, Albino Gaskon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Martínez AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Flavio Loreto hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Macarone Fc's Luciano Benino got control of the ball when Israel Orti tried to sneak it across the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Macarone Fc's goalkeeper Luciano Benino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Israel Orti. The audience thought a goal was coming when Israel Orti got free with Luciano Benino in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. For all the effort they put into the match, the Martínez AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Macarone Fc.
