Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Egusquiza's Carlos Michael started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Teodoro Bastian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basilio Faron having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Lázaro Gaufred hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Michael in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodolfo Chano saved Asturias FC from getting behind. When Carlos Michael came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Egusquiza fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Michael couldn't finish the play. In the 19th minute, Carlos Michael got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 22 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Asturias FC! In the 24th minute there was a penalty for Egusquiza. Baldomiro Oier stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Rodolfo Chano. 2-0. A collision led to Egusquiza getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Omar Beliran hit a great ball. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Egusquiza's goalkeeper Basilio Faron, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ovidio Nuñez's late challenge caught a Asturias FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ovidio Nuñez helped the player get up and apologised. Teodoro Bastian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Basilio Faron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Michael sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leo Tibalt was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Basilio Ugutz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodolfo Chano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodolfo Chano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basilio Ugutz in the 54th minute of the match. Egusquiza's Basilio Ugutz got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Asturias FC defense, Carlos Michael kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rodolfo Chano. The Asturias FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodolfo Chano should have stopped the shot. Carlos Michael blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rodolfo Chano having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Asturias FC's Fernando Mosen got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 75th minute, Lázaro Gaufred hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rodolfo Chano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basilio Ugutz in the 76th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Asturias FC's zone, Carlos Michael stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodolfo Chano came out of the goal and Carlos Michael tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 79th minute, Moises Cucao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Egusquiza had played much better football throughout.
