When Fabian Montes came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Monteverde FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabian Montes couldn't finish the play. In the 7th minute Salvador Procopio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florencio Haritz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Monteverde FC fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when Monteverde FC's Fabian Montes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Nemesio Sadurni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 15 minutes into the match, Fabian Montes notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Deportivo Casino's Florencio Haritz. Florencio Haritz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Monteverde FC booed when Deportivo Casino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfonso Emenon didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabian Montes in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Florencio Haritz saved Deportivo Casino from getting behind. In the 28th minute, Felipe Burutzagi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 31 minutes into the match, Nemesio Sadurni notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Deportivo Casino's Florencio Haritz. Florencio Haritz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Florencio Haritz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nemesio Sadurni in the 35th minute of the match. Florencio Haritz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Montes in the 36th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Bernardino Gitano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Florencio Haritz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nemesio Sadurni, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 44th minute of the match Prospero Isauro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Florencio Haritz skillfully saved the ball. Monteverde FC were furious when Mauricio Michael was red carded, 46 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aristides Kemen to make the kick off. If Fabian Montes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Salvador Procopio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Florencio Haritz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabian Montes in the 64th minute. When Felipe Burutzagi came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Monteverde FC fans jumped to their feet. Fabian Montes might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Florencio Haritz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabian Montes ran back to his position shaking his head. If Fabian Montes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Salvador Procopio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Florencio Haritz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Florencio Jerico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benicio Mino in the 76th minute of the match. Deportivo Casino's Aristides Kemen got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fabian Montes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Salvador Procopio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florencio Haritz having to interfere. After having played for 86 minutes, Fabian Montes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Monteverde FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabian Montes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Felipe Burutzagi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Florencio Haritz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabian Montes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Florencio Haritz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Salvador Procopio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monteverde FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Salvador Procopio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florencio Haritz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fabian Montes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Florencio Haritz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Fabian Montes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 99th match minute, Deportivo Casino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardino Gitano to maneuver through the defense. 100 minutes into the match, Deportivo Casino's goalkeeper Florencio Haritz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabian Montes. The Deportivo Casino fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Monteverde FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
