Spectators: 6681 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Benigno Walme took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 8th minute Jacinto Hulberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Lorien saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Capayán AFC booed when Esquina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodoro Maxin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Capayán AFC's Lucas Lorien played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Hulberto in the 16th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Capayán AFC's zone, Jacinto Hulberto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucas Lorien came out of the goal and Jacinto Hulberto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 20 minutes into the match, Capayán AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Clementi came free, but Lucas Lorien reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacinto Hulberto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Lucas Lorien tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucas Lorien didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gustavo Clementi went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Severino Vito took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lucas Lorien. Capayán AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Lucas Lorien showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Clementi in the 31st minute of the match. Fernan Jaunzuria struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Ciro Eriz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Capayán AFC. Gustavo Clementi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Jacinto Hulberto sped through Capayán AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lucas Lorien. After a rather tough play, Capayán AFC's Celedonio Romo got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 43rdth minute of the game Jacinto Hulberto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Capayán AFC's Lucas Lorien was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Esquina's Gustavo Clementi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lucas Lorien narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gustavo Clementi to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Capayán AFC's goalkeeper Lucas Lorien had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jacinto Hulberto. If Gustavo Clementi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benigno Walme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Ciro Eriz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Justo Galoer hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Ciro Eriz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benigno Walme in the 66th minute of the match. Ciro Eriz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernan Jaunzuria in the 68th minute of play. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Jacinto Hulberto sped through Capayán AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lucas Lorien. Ciro Eriz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernan Jaunzuria in the 80th minute of the match. Lucas Lorien took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Clementi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jacinto Hulberto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teodoro Maxin was shown his second yellow card after 92 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 93rd match minute, Esquina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodoro Maxin to maneuver through the defense. The Esquina supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Esquina would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
