The supporters of CA Juarense booed when Sportivo Avellaneda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafino Cordairo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ermegildo Filipo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delmar Mirande having to interfere. After having played for 16 minutes, Matias Maule managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sportivo Avellaneda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matias Maule was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. It was beautiful to see CA Juarense's Ermegildo Filipo in action when he in the 19th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! An unexpectedly hard shot by Matias Maule in the 23rd minute of play forced CA Juarense's goalkeeper Anastasio Tabby to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ermegildo Filipo fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 28th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. Ermegildo Filipo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delmar Mirande having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in CA Juarense's zone, Matias Maule stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anastasio Tabby came out of the goal and Matias Maule tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 34th minute, Alonzo Bernebe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Sportivo Avellaneda getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Matias Maule hit a great ball. Serafino Cordairo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 40 minutes into the match, Serafino Cordairo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of CA Juarense's Anastasio Tabby. Anastasio Tabby was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Serafino Cordairo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Sportivo Avellaneda were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Matias Maule to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Serafino Cordairo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anastasio Tabby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sportivo Avellaneda's Alonzo Bernebe got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 56th minute, Sportivo Avellaneda's Serafino Cordairo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Anastasio Tabby. Anastasio Tabby yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Ermegildo Filipo fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 61st minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. Ermegildo Filipo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delmar Mirande having to interfere. Ermegildo Filipo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anastasio Tabby was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Serafino Cordairo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 71 minute of play. Alonzo Bernebe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Anastasio Tabby made a huge save. Ermegildo Filipo missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 82 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Delmar Mirande right hand side. Matias Maule might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anastasio Tabby. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Matias Maule ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Sportivo Avellaneda booed when CA Juarense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anastasio Tabby tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Sportivo Avellaneda could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than CA Juarense throughout the match.
