After a rather tough play, Quebrachitos's Inocencio Magdaleno got a free kick in the 17th minute. After having played for 18 minutes, Nicasio Nazario managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Echegoyen AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicasio Nazario was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 19 minutes, Inocencio Magdaleno mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quebrachitos and the Echegoyen AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 27 minutes into the game, Echegoyen AFC's Humberto Geofredo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
