Spectators: 6681 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fontezuela's Rogelio Oinatz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nereo Erruki in the 4th minute of play. Rogelio Oinatz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonel Orzaize, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Zárate AFC's zone, Marco Cruz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ignacio Artaldo came out of the goal and Marco Cruz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leonel Orzaize received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Rogelio Oinatz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Nereo Erruki managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zárate AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nereo Erruki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rogelio Oinatz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rogelio Oinatz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nereo Erruki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rogelio Oinatz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonel Orzaize's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Leonel Orzaize received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Rogelio Oinatz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cesar Cordeara kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nereo Erruki in the 44th minute of play forced Fontezuela's goalkeeper Rogelio Oinatz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Leonel Orzaize had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nereo Erruki stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 63rd minute, Cesar Cordeara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 64 minutes, Victorino Calvino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fontezuela and the Zárate AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 64 played minutes Fontezuela got a freekick which was hit by Victorino Calvino. Ignacio Artaldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Cruz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Marco Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ignacio Artaldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Cruz in the 80th minute of the match. With a little luck, Fontezuela's Rogelio Oinatz got control of the ball when Leonel Orzaize tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marco Cruz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ariel Jordy got free with Rogelio Oinatz in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Silverio Mikelats had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marco Cruz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ignacio Artaldo having to make a save. After having played for 97 minutes, Marco Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fontezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marco Cruz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marco Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ignacio Artaldo having to interfere. The Zárate AFC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Fontezuela from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
