An unexpectedly hard shot by Nunez Paez in the 18th minute of play forced cruzdiabLo FC's goalkeeper Manuel Sol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felix Umbruso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Sol having to interfere. 32 minutes into the game, Ruben Salomone was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Roman Lauren kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 60th minute Victor Intxixu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teobaldo Gregory saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Felix Umbruso kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Manuel Sol. That made the score 1-1 in the 62 minute of play. In the 66th match minute, Los rengos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cleto Havier to maneuver through the defense. Teobaldo Gregory showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amancio Erdiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute.
