Leon Quentin started the match with the kick off. Nicasio Chico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Quentin in the 4th minute of play. Bonifacio Romano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Nicasio Chico made a huge save. If Bonifacio Romano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leon Quentin in the 9th minute of play forced Plaza del Gaucho's goalkeeper Nicasio Chico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Plaza del Gaucho's goalkeeper Nicasio Chico had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bonifacio Romano. Leon Quentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Nicasio Chico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th match minute, Plaza del Gaucho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvador Marz to maneuver through the defense. When Leon Quentin came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Moreno FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leon Quentin couldn't finish the play. If Bonifacio Romano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bonifacio Romano got free with Nicasio Chico in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nicasio Chico was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Aaron Hever. The supporters of Moreno FC booed when Plaza del Gaucho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernan Sasoin didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leon Quentin in the 30th minute of play forced Plaza del Gaucho's goalkeeper Nicasio Chico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leon Quentin in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicasio Chico prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bonifacio Romano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Bonifacio Romano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicasio Chico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Siro Perez, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 43 minutes into the match, Plaza del Gaucho's goal looked a bit too open when Leon Quentin came free, but Nicasio Chico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes into the game, Bonifacio Romano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Nicasio Chico was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hernan Sasoin was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leon Quentin in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicasio Chico saved Plaza del Gaucho from getting behind. 62 minutes into the match, Plaza del Gaucho's goal looked a bit too open when Bonifacio Romano came free, but Nicasio Chico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bonifacio Romano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicasio Chico stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leon Quentin's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. In the 66th minute Bonifacio Romano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicasio Chico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicasio Chico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Quentin in the 68th minute of play. Leon Quentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicasio Chico having to interfere. 71 minutes into the game, Salvador Marz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Plaza del Gaucho's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Moreno FC the free kick. After 71 played minutes Plaza del Gaucho got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Marz. Nicasio Chico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Siro Perez in the 75th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bonifacio Romano in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicasio Chico saved Plaza del Gaucho from getting behind. Nicasio Chico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bonifacio Romano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicasio Chico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bonifacio Romano in the 88th minute of play. Plaza del Gaucho's Nicasio Chico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bonifacio Romano in the 91st minute of play. Nicasio Chico didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leon Quentin went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Moreno FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
