In the 2nd match minute, NO PAIN NO GAIN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romulo Reyes to maneuver through the defense. After 4 minutes, Maximino Quilino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the NO PAIN NO GAIN and the Rivadeo AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Miguel Gaufred fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Siro Bazil having to interfere. In the 7th minute, Dario Mosen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rivadeo AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 10th minute Maximino Quilino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Cebo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Melchor Charro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 17 minutes into the game, NO PAIN NO GAIN's Melchor Charro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zeledon Cebo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. If Maximino Quilino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rivadeo AFC's Miguel Gaufred got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Siro Bazil was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Flavio Remir. After a defensive mix-up in NO PAIN NO GAIN's zone, Miguel Gaufred stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Siro Bazil came out of the goal and Miguel Gaufred tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 39th minute Miguel Gaufred shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siro Bazil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Siro Bazil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Gaufred in the 43rd minute of play. Siro Bazil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Gaufred, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. When Romulo Reyes fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored NO PAIN NO GAIN's protests and gave Romulo Reyes a yellow card for diving instead. In the 69thth minute of the game Miguel Gaufred who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but NO PAIN NO GAIN's Siro Bazil was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With his leg Zeledon Cebo managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when NO PAIN NO GAIN's Maximino Quilino fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 89 minutes of play NO PAIN NO GAIN's Alberto Javiar was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, NO PAIN NO GAIN's Alberto Javiar got a free kick in the 89th minute. Segundo Paskal's late challenge caught a NO PAIN NO GAIN's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Segundo Paskal helped the player get up and apologised. In the 96th match minute, Rivadeo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Segundo Paskal to maneuver through the defense.
